FAQ's.
1. To order a painting
copied from a photograph, you will first need to get a quotation from
us. To do this please click the "quote" link below.
This will open your
email program, such as Outlook. If you use web based email then copy and paste
the link.
Within the email please supply the following details;
1.
Your name and return email address (a contact telephone number is useful to
speed up the process - should we have any points to clarify).
2. The
size of painting that you want.
3. Any instructions that
you have, e.g. to keep the detailed background or not, to remove any blemish in
the photograph etc. This is very important when we are creating a
painting from more than 1 photograph.
4. Attach digital images that you want painted.

The typical price for a portrait of 1
person in size 16" X 20" is only £95.00 inc p&p !!! (worldwide "signed
for")
2. TO ORDER A COPY OF AN OLD MASTER.
We
are in an on-going process of building a database of Artists
and their work, and this, when completed will contain more than 5,000 pieces of
artwork.
This database of Old Masters
can be accessed "HERE", it will take you to our Shop by
Artist pages, where you can buy the painting
with a single click.
If however, the copy of the Old
Master that you want is not in our database you will need to send us an
email at quotes@portraitsofu.co.uk or
complete our "request a quotation form" which can be accessed "HERE".
We will need the following information to be given in the form or
email:
1. Your name and return email address (a contact telephone number
is useful to speed up the process - should we have any points to
clarify).
2. The size of painting that you
want.
3. Name of Artist.
4. Name of
Painting. If not known, then there are a couple of links to the
left that might help. They are Famous Painters and Old
Masters.
When we send you your quotation we will attach an image
of the painting for your confirmation. However, if you are
requesting a quotation by email you could attach an image of the
painting for our attention.
